Roman Fernandez, Senior Consultant
Roman has more than 20 years of experience in various roles, most recently serving as a Senior Consultant at Roland Berger LP in Detroit, a leading global strategy consulting firm. His expertise – and focus at Blended Collective – includes business strategy, corporate innovation, organizational transformation, and venture building. He’s currently running an accelerator for emergent startups in commercial fleet electrification in Detroit, MI. He also runs a venture studio for collaborative digital platforms, AI and Blockchain in Berlin, Germany.
In his previous role, Roman also advised automotive and transportation companies on business strategy and corporate innovation. During this time, he worked with leading OEMs and suppliers in the automotive industry to explore solutions across the 4 major trends in transportation – Mobility, Autonomous, Digitalization and Electrification (MADE). To further support industries in mastering the digital transformation, Roman spent time in the heart of Berlin at Spielfeld Digital, a corporate innovation space. Prior to Roland Berger, he worked in product development at Ford Motor Company and Robert Bosch in the U.S., Germany, Austria, Brazil, China, Turkey and India.
Roman has volunteered his time for non-profit and diversity projects in education in Detroit, U.S. and Cape Town, South Africa. He holds an international MBA degree from IE Business School in Madrid, Spain and an undergraduate degree in electrical engineering from University of Kerala, India.
