CHALLENGE

CLEAN Sneaker Care, Metro Detroit’s premier sneaker cleaning and restoration service, sought to expand its reach within the sneakerhead community while educating potential customers about their services. 

With a minimalist, fashion-forward shop aesthetic and a strong commitment to sustainability, CLEAN Sneaker Care needed a creative approach to demonstrate the depth of its offerings and attract a new audience.  

SOLUTION

Blended Collective worked with CLEAN Sneaker Care to create a content-driven strategy and Instagram Reels campaign, aimed at elevating their brand presence and driving store traffic. The project began with a kickoff call to align on objectives and content direction, ensuring that every creative element reflected the brand’s unique position as a leader in sneaker restoration and care.

Our solutions included:

  • Content Creation: We developed a series of ten elevated, short-form videos (reels) designed to showcase the range of services the CLEAN offers, from light cleaning to full restoration for premium footwear and accessories. Each video emphasizes CLEAN’s minimalist aesthetic and attention to detail, appealing directly to the sneakerhead and fashion-forward audience.
  • Educational Storytelling: The videos provided an engaging walkthrough of the customer journey, making it clear how easy it is to access CLEAN’s services. This transparency helps establish trust and build customer confidence.
  • Cohesive Narrative: By crafting a thread of connectivity between videos, we created a cohesive short series that reflects CLEAN’s brand story and values. This approach highlights CLEAN’s passion for sneaker culture while integrating their mission of sustainability and reducing shoe waste.

The video series successfully positions CLEAN Sneaker Care as a go-to destination for sneakerheads, boosting engagement, awareness, and in-store traffic. 

By blending education with visually appealing content, the campaign:

  • Enhanced CLEAN’s visibility within the sneakerhead community.
  • Attracted new followers and increased store visits from local and regional customers.
  • Established a deeper connection between CLEAN and its target audience by emphasizing the importance of sustainability and premium care in sneaker culture.
  • The Instagram Reels campaign led to strong engagement and reach, generating over 21K total views883 interactions, and an average of 46.1% of views from new, non-followers—a clear indicator that the content resonated beyond the existing audience and successfully introduced the brand to new potential customers.
