Julie is a digital marketing creative with more than seven years of work experience in various roles, mostly in the field of content writing. After college, she started her writing career at ABS-CBN, the Philippines’ largest broadcasting network and the first television broadcaster in Southeast Asia. She wrote for news and current affairs, the network’s programs, and provided translations for television shows being aired through The Filipino Channel, which are shown to subscribers from over 40 countries.
Julie, a Filipino of Spanish and Chinese descent, has always been fascinated by the beauty of the world’s cultures, languages, and traditions. She ultimately ventured into freelancing, where she had the opportunity to work with clients worldwide, whether in a start-up setting or in a large enterprise. Captivated by the Polynesian culture, Julie spends her free time learning Samoan, Tokelauan, and Tuvaluan.
